I have a massive sum of very important info I have all around on my USB important.

I also will soon be undertaking a work exactly where I will not be at 1 specific pc so I am quite eager on acquiring myself a handheld (Palm / Pocket Personal computer).

What I wasn’t sure of was if it is possible to plug in a USB memory crucial directly into a handheld so I can go through files on it by means of my key.

I know of no this kind of system at the moment on the industry.
There is Palm software program for Palm PDAs called Paperwork To Go which will duplicate selected Word documents from your Pc to your Palm when you hot sync the Palm with the pc. (This instantly converts them to Palm format so you can read them on your Palm.) This would bypass the USB crucial thing completely. If you get a PDA with a memory card slot (which you need to) you could retailer the paperwork on the card, then access them from a personal computer by employing a USB card reader when needed.
