After the conversation to Digital TV, will I still be able to listen to the audio carrier on my handheld?

Query by Patrick H: After the conversation to Digital Tv, will I even now be ready to listen to the audio carrier on my handheld?

The entire tv signal will be using digital modulation. This contains the audio element. Your analog handheld won’t be capable to demodulate it.
